Design Sprint——Start

The main element of this project was an exhibition design for the Derby Museum. The theme I was assigned was mummies. After receiving this theme again, I started to prepare for this project.

First I made a list of what I needed to know and research before I started.

1. the history of the Derby Museum.

2. the biggest needs of Derby Museum at the moment.

3. history and knowledge about mummies.

4. find out about mummy-related films, books and works.

5. find a few points of interest.

It is very important to prepare before the design begins, and only if you have enough knowledge beforehand can you ensure that the design goes smoothly later on.
