BRIEF
Create a unique team badge for a club, featuring your own original bespoke typography inspired by the activity, people or attitude of the club. These designs may be hand drawn or digital.You might wish to represent an existing club, or you may wish to respond playfully to the idea of a fake club, an outrageous society, or a hybrid of two existing ones (Hell’s Angel- Girl Guides).

process
I didn't choose a real team because I don't know much about football, so I chose to use a virtual team from a story for the design.
After thinking about it I chose Gryffindor as the theme, if Hogwarts were to have a football tournament what would the Gryffindor crest look like?
First I did some research on Gryffindor as a house and the results are as follows.
After this I looked at some Harry Potter badge designs and wanted to extract some key elements.
At the end of the preliminary research I decided to change the original lion on the house crest to a phoenix and add the original element of fire. This was coupled with the original shield image for the design. The sketch is below.
The final result is shown below. This emblem retains some of the original design and combines the phoenix with the fire will to create a new image. It represents passion and resourcefulness. The shield image is retained to convey the emotion of strength and courage. The whole design conveys that the team is enthusiastic, aggressive yet calm and extremely defensive, an invincible and invincible team.
