Before this week's lecture took place, it almost never occurred to me to share and serve with my work through the internet. After this lecture it has given me a new understanding of how the internet can help.
Until then I had never been conscious of showing or sharing my designs, my work, through the internet. My work had always existed only in my own hands, which I had previously thought was unnecessary. After this talk, I have overturned my previous beliefs and now I think the internet can really help me a lot.
Firstly, as an introvert, I am not really good at communicating directly with many people face to face. I don't have a lot of opportunities to communicate with people about my work and I rarely get enough feedback from them, which is very bad. And the internet has really helped me with this problem. I can upload my work to the internet and get a lot of feedback from people without having to meet them face to face. And I can meet like-minded people and learn from them. At the same time, the encouragement and attention I get from kind people can be a great motivation for me to improve.
Secondly, the internet can really help us a lot, as we can get in touch with professionals and get in touch with them without having to worry about location and distance. We can also promote ourselves very well through the internet.
I think next I will start using the internet to serve myself better.
I got a lot of interesting and meaningful feedback through the miro sharing and I got to see a lot of other students' work and learn about other people's ideas and thoughts, which is a very rewarding thing, it helps us to open up our own ideas and thinking and make the work more possible. It also helped me a lot to learn about other people's ideas.
I have also learnt a lot about artists from all over the world and through the work shared by these artists on the internet I have learnt and learnt more, enriching my horizons and opening up my insights. This has helped me to open up a wider range of ideas that will help me in my future studies and design.
